At A.I.R Recruitment- we’re changing lives.
As the Director of A.I.R Recruitment, I feel proud of our journey, the careers we help build daily, alliances we have formed with our amazing clients to assist them in their growth, and the community partnerships and sponsorships we have formed to help improve the lives of people daily.
Today, I feel extremely proud and honoured for the opportunity to support the Hunter Medical Research Institute (HMRI).
This particular donation is very close to my heart and a community initiative that’s been on my wish list for quite some time, and in honor of my Late sister Nancy which was diagnosed with one of many autoimmune diseases, Lupus.
I also had the privilege to tour the HMRI site and research labs with Rebekah Wilson, Senior Philanthropy Manager of HMRI and Dr Vicki Maltby - expert in epigenetic function in autoimmune diseases, with a focus on gene expression and regulation (epigenetic markers of disease) to predict treatment response.
HMRI fights the illnesses affecting lives throughout the world. Their translational research model aligns over 1500 researchers, students and support staff from Hunter New England Health and the University of Newcastle, inspiring new discoveries to deliver a healthier future.

A successful businesswoman with a heart of gold has been named the 2021 Wallsend Woman of the Year.
Wallsend state MP Sonia Hornery this week declared Suzie Ninevski as the deserving winner of the annual honour.
The local member nominated Ms Ninevski for the award, based on her generosity to the Wallsend community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
When coronavirus first struck in 2020, and businesses started to close and job losses began to hit home, she contacted Ms Hornery’s office and offered to help in any way she could.
This was despite her own business facing trying times as a result of the lockdown.
Ms Ninevski not only gave free financial and career advice to people impacted by COVID-related shutdowns, she also provided thousands of dollars worth of vouchers to be distributed to those in need.
This was such a wonderful show of community spirit and, as a result, she was recognised by the CEO of the peak recruitment industry body, the Recruitment, Consulting and Staffing Association, as the Australian & New Zealand RCSA COVID-19 Hero.
Ms Ninevski was also a national finalist in the RCSA Rising Star 2020 Award.
To cap it off, Ms Hornery nominated her in the NSW Community Hero and NSW Woman of Excellence categories for the 2021 awards, too.
“So many women in the Wallsend electorate are working hard to make a difference for our community and it’s never easy to choose who to nominate,” the MP said.
“Suzie is incredibly community-minded and loves her local area.
“Her human endeavour, leadership and resilience in the face of an unprecedented challenge meant she was a worthy winner of this award.
“Suzie’s generous support for the local community helped many families where both parents had lost their job during the COVID-19 lockdown.
“She also made sure that the vouchers could be used to support local businesses and local jobs.
“Suzie was rightly recognised on a national level, receiving the COVID-19 Community Hero Award from her peers.
“I congratulate her on adding the Wallsend Woman of the Year to her long list of achievements.
“I can think of no one more deserving of this award.”

GO THE TIGERS!!!
Novocastrian and A.I.R Recruitment Director Suzie Ninevski has been recognised by the CEO of the peak recruitment industry body (RCSA) as the Australian & New Zealand RCSA COVID-19 HERO. This year the RCSA decided there was a need for a slightly different award to celebrate the industry through this difficult time – the annual Community CEO Award for Outstanding Contribution became the COVID-19 Hero Award.
The RCSA is the peak body for the recruitment and staffing industry in Australia and New Zealand. The prestigious RCSA Industry Awards provide the opportunity to recognise the best of best in the recruitment, staffing and workforce solutions sector in Australia and New Zealand. These coveted awards are among the most prestigious in the sector and highlight the true outstanding achievers operating in the space.
Beating seven other recruitment leaders from throughout Australia and New Zealand, Suzie was shocked, yet honoured, to hear Charles Cameron announce her name during the live on-line event; recognising her as the most inspirational member in the face of the COVID-19 crisis.
The award celebrates human endeavour, leadership and resilience in the face of an unprecedented challenge.
“Suzie is one of the people who have stood up and shone when we needed her to. Each and every one of the finalists inspired me and inspired all of those who enjoyed seeing the way in which we've contributed to an outcome that is better for all. Great work, Suzie - well done to you. You've gone above and beyond and we love your work - thank you very much,” said Charles Cameron, RCSA Chief Executive Officer
Mrs Ninevski was recognised for her incredible care for the wider community. At the peak of the COVID-19 lockdown she joined forces with State Member for Wallsend, Sonia Hornery MP, to help support those under financial and career stress. A.I.R Recruitment continues to provide FREE reviews, advice and guidance on resumes to help get people back in the work force.
“The past months have seen the world change for individuals, small businesses and corporate Australia in a way we could never dreamed possible and the least I could do was offer my help; financial and career – all free of charge. It’s vitally important during these difficult and unprecedented times that we all support each other and lend a hand where possible. I want to give back and support communities in any way possible,” she said.
It was quite surreal for Suzie to be sitting in her office watching the Awards, as she heard her name announced as the winner of the final award of the event.
“The event was virtually over and I was getting ready to shut the computer down and then I heard my name announced, it was amazing! I yelled out to my family I was so excited,” said Suzie.
“I’m absolutely thrilled to have been awarded today the RCSA's 2020 CEO Award for Outstanding Contribution. The award recognizes the community contribution and inspirational acts from members across Australia and New Zealand,” she said.
“Thank you to my family, friends, clients and candidates for your continued support. Also, a special thank you to the RSCA for the opportunity to be part of a wonderful industry group.”
It caps off a great awards season for Suzie, who was also a National Finalist in the RCSA Rising Star 2020 Award category.
An enormous hunger for success and a desire to see the best in others has seen 39-year-old Suzie Ninevski from Maryland recognised as one of only FOUR national finalists in the Recruitment, Consulting and Staffing Association Australia & New Zealand (RCSA) awards in the coveted category “Rising Star of 2020”.
Releasing the finalists names today, the RCSA told nominees they had received a record number of entries in 2020 – so competition is more fierce than ever before just to get to the finals.
A.I.R Recruitment, of which Mrs Ninevski is the Managing Director, is a boutique national recruitment agency based in Newcastle, driven by passion and the challenge of connecting quality candidates to careers that deliver success. The foundation of the business is trust, integrity and the three key fundamental people solutions to Attract, Integrate and Retain.
From a start-up business in 2018, Mrs Ninevski has single handedly grown her business, and continues on her successful path. But A.I.R Recruitment is about much more than financial rewards or KPI’s.
“I’m passionate about connecting opportunities that deliver results, assist with business growth through talent acquisition, and help individuals reach their full potential. As a Director and Recruiter, what sets me apart is the successful hands-on experience I've gained throughout my career in sales, marketing, media, advertising, management and administration,” she said.
“Whilst in these roles, I've worked closely amongst the health, aged care, education, mining, industrial, building and construction, food manufacturing, media, service, sports and retail industries. I thrive on challenges and enjoy tackling complex situations.”
“But I wouldn’t be in this position of being Nationally recognised without the support and encouragement of my incredible clients. They believed in me and I am so grateful to them all.”
It was important for Mrs Ninevski to add an education component to her business, creating a partnership with Stride Learning to provide short courses, Certificate courses and Diploma qualification options to clients across Logistics, Administration, Finance, Aged Care and Child Care.
A.I.R Recruitment has seen such incredible growth that in 2020 the business will move to new premises.
Mrs Ninevski showed her incredible care for the wider community, recently joining forces with State Member for Wallsend, Sonia Hornery MP, to help support those who are under financial and career stress during the COVID-19 crisis.
A.I.R Recruitment continues to provide FREE reviews, advice and guidance on resumes to get people back in the work force - and that is why Suzie Ninevski is a finalist in the 2020 RCSA National Awards.
Suzie Ninevski, Director A.I.R Reruitment
The past two weeks has seen the world change for individuals, small businesses and corporate Australia in a way we could never dreamed possible and a lady at the front line of this change is offering help; financial and career – all free of charge.
Mum of two and Director of A.I.R Recruitment, Suzie Ninevski, has fielded many heart-breaking calls from individuals in dire circumstances.
“Over recent weeks, I’ve taken so many calls where both parents have lost their jobs, that’s both jobs in ONE household. It’s heartbreaking,” said Ms Ninevski.
“It’s vitally important during these difficult and unprecedented times that we all support each other and lend a hand where possible. For weeks I have been seeing the huge impact on families and their budgets both locally and national from this COVID-19 crisis. I want to give back and support communities in any way possible,” she said.
Spurned on to do whatever she could to help, Ms Ninevski contacted her State Member, Sonia Hornery MP for advice and assistance.
“My office has been working closely with the community, local groups and service providers to identify who in the community may be struggling and in need of assistance,” said Ms Hornery.
“The Wallsend electorate is a very close-knit community and when times are tough, we stick together. Suzie and AIR Recruitment have been part of that community for many years.”
“Despite the tough times for many local businesses, Suzie has generously given $1000 worth of vouchers to be distributed to those in genuine needs in the coming week and months.”
For Suzie, it was several factors that prompted her to provide the food vouchers.
“I felt keeping people healthy in this current environment was crucial and offering food vouchers is a good start. It’s also a way to put money back into other small business, Farnham Butchery being just one.”
“Sonia was immediately supportive of anything we could do to assist. I just really wanted to do something real that would make a difference. No one could ever have predicted the situation we are now in,” said Ms Ninevski.
A.I.R Recruitment purchased $1000 worth of food vouchers to be donated via Ms Hornery’s office. Over the coming months the two will work closely on volunteer initiatives to help those in need and those in need are encouraged to reach out to Ms Hornery office.
“I would encourage anyone who can assist by purchasing or donating food vouchers to please become involved. We ALL need to stand up at the moment and support each other. We are being asked to physically distance from each other, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t socially be there for one another.”
But of course, with Suzie, there is even more she wants to do to assist her community. A.I.R Recruitment will provide FREE reviews, advice and guidance on resumes to get people back in the work force.
“I’ve had many job seekers call me just for a chat, and I encourage this because not everyone has someone to turn to. If I can lend an ear and offer support or guidance, I’m more than happy to do so. For many people being without a job and back out in such a depressed job market is so foreign. We’re here to help with updating your résumé, creating an online job seeker profile, and just holding your hand. I encourage employers who may be looking to stand people down or let them go completely, send us their resume and we will be there to help.
“There are lots of people out there at the moment who need support and we will do our best to assist as many people as possible.”
Once again, this has proven to Ms Hornery the strength of the Wallsend community.
“This is such a wonderful show of community spirit and I thank Suzie from the bottom of my heart from all those in the Wallsend Electorate.”
